The pecan has a Early Spring bloom period. Propogated by Bare root, Container, Cuttings, Seed, the fruit/seed period of the pecan lasts from Summer to Fall.
While a plant may be listed as fruit-bearing in Ohio, you might not have the best growing conditions in your specific area.
