Known as having a Low drought tolerance, the Elliott’s blueberry (Vaccinium elliottii) is in the Heath family. It requires a minimum temperature of -3°F.

The fruit/seed period of the Elliott’s blueberry runs from Spring to Spring. It si propogated by Bare root, Container, Cuttings, Seed and has a bloom period in Early Spring.

Not every plant species listed as a food forest candidate in Louisiana will thrive in your specific climate or area.
