The small camas has a Mid Spring bloom period. Propogated by Bare root, Bulbs, Container, Seed, Sprigs, the fruit/seed period of the small camas lasts from Spring to Spring.
Surviving in temperatures above -28°F, the small camas is in the Lily family. It’s scientific name is Camassia quamash, and it has a None drought tolerance.
The small camas requires between 16 and 55 inches of rain per annum. It is Native to ID.
While a plant may be listed as fruit-bearing in Idaho, you might not have the best growing conditions in your specific area.
