Known as having a Low drought tolerance, the pawpaw (Asimina triloba) is in the Custard-apple family. It requires a minimum temperature of -27°F.
In areas with an annual rainfall of between 36 and 80 inches, you might find the pawpaw, which is Native to FL.
The fruit/seed period of the pawpaw runs from Spring to Summer. It si propogated by Bare root, Container, Seed and has a bloom period in Mid Spring.
Not every plant species listed as a food forest candidate in Florida will thrive in your specific climate or area.
