Native to NV, the netleaf hackberry is common in food forests. It grows in areas with a minimum of 7 inches of annual rainfall.
A member of the Elm family, the common name for Celtis laevigata var. reticulata is netleaf hackberry. Requiring a minimum temperature of -42°F, it has a High tolerance of drought.
You may live in a micro-climate or area of Nevada where some species don’t thrive or fruit.
