The fruit/seed period of the chicory runs from Summer to Fall. It si propogated by Seed and has a bloom period in Mid Summer.

In areas with an annual rainfall of between 20 and 60 inches, you might find the chicory, which is Introduced to NM.

Not every plant species listed as a food forest candidate in New Mexico will thrive in your specific climate or area.
