The nutmeg hickory is propogated by Bare root, Container, Seed. With a bloom period in Mid Spring, the fruit/seed period begins in Summer and ends in Fall.
While a plant species may generally thrive and fruit in Louisiana, you may be in a climate that isn’t optimal.
