In areas with an annual rainfall of between 40 and 200 inches, you might find the Indian walnut, which is Introduced to HI.

The fruit/seed period of the Indian walnut runs from Spring to Summer. It si propogated by Bare root, Container, Seed and has a bloom period in Spring.

Known as having a Medium drought tolerance, the Indian walnut (Aleurites moluccana) is in the Spurge family. It requires a minimum temperature of 49°F.

Not every plant species listed as a food forest candidate in Hawaii will thrive in your specific climate or area.
